Remember when Pema said that line about how she couldn’t let her soulmate spend his life with the wrong woman? 

And we were all like.. that’s not really cool you should respect other people’s relationships I hope the show addresses that. 

But Korra and the little girls were like ‘awwwwwww’. 

In retrospect, I think that’s when we should’ve seen this Makorra bullshit coming. The lesson of this show is, as long as you think it’s ~true love~ it doesn’t matter who you have to trample on to get it.
